Vintage Hippie Cognac Leather Shoulder Bag with Studded Sunburst Detail
A striking vintage leather shoulder bag with a wonderfully bohemian, Seventies-inspired look. Rich cognac leather, contrasting dark brown panels and an elaborate arrangement of metal studs give this piece plenty of character. The leather’s visible grain, natural creasing and aged patina add depth to its warm caramel tones.
The generously shaped front flap is the focal point of the design. Silver-tone rivets trace its curved edges, while rounded brass-tone studs and flowing cut-out details form a decorative sunburst across the centre. An engraved circular metal ornament completes the composition, framing a domed centrepiece with a mottled pattern in shades of brown, cream and black. The combination of different metal finishes and earthy colours gives the bag an expressive, jewellery-like quality.
Dark brown curved leather panels beneath the flap create a beautiful layered effect, highlighted by further rows of studs and contrasting light stitching. A brass-tone turn-lock fastening sits at the lower edge of the flap, complementing the warm colour of the leather.
The bag has a slim, rectangular silhouette and a long, narrow leather shoulder strap attached with metal clips. Beneath the decorative flap, a zip closure provides access to the main compartment. The interior is lined in contrasting blue fabric and includes an additional inner pocket.
