A rare and beautifully detailed vintage Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche dress, made in France and dating from the 1970s.
The dress features warm rust-brown, black and muted beige vertical stripes, a romantic ruffled stand collar and a long pussy-bow tie at the neckline. Delicate ruffles frame the Western-inspired front and back yokes, while the long sleeves finish with buttoned, frilled cuffs.
Designed with a relaxed silhouette, the dress falls into a softly gathered tiered skirt with a knee-to-midi length. A wonderful example of Saint Laurent’s iconic 1970s prairie and bohemian aesthetic.
